Technical Specification

Please note 0.001g is 1000th of a gram. A scale of this type (price) is not accurate to 0.001g (no matter who you buy it from!) - the reading will drift up and down by 0.005g.

Guarantee
10 years. This covers manufacturing faults only, it excludes normal wear and tear, bowls, trays, finishes, clasps, hinges, feet, AC adaptors and batteries; it also excludes being overloaded / dropped (e.g. error messages EEE, 0-Ld, or OUEr). The guarantee is invalid if the scale shows signs of foreign material (e.g. residues of herbs, chemicals, corrosion, spilt tea). After 1 year you must pay the postage both ways.
Inaccurate readings can be fixed by calibrating the scale, this is something that is very easy for you to do yourself with the two 10g weights supplied. Giving inaccurate readings does not mean it is broken - all electronic measuring devices need calibrating every now and again, see .
